Hi, I'm Tayma!

I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Austin, Texas from August 2020 to January 2022 after many months of prayer and consideration about whether or not to serve. I know what it's like to be standing at the crossorads, asking questions and longing for peace. During my time in Texas, I met people who deeply touched my life, strengthened my relationship with Heavenly Father, and learned to recognize the Spirit’s voice more clearly in my life.

After my mission, I returned to Southern Virginia University, where I met my husband when we were partnered on a class project. We were married in 2023, and shortly after, I graduated from SVU with a degree in psychology. In 2024, we welcomed our first child, a baby boy.

I'm passionate about both family life and personal growth and am a Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator. I love to help mothers feel confident, supported, and able to trust themselves and their intuition through pregnancy, labor, and birth.

When I'm not teaching or writing, I can be found in the mountains, lost in a deep conversation, curled up with a good book, experimenting with new sourdough recipes, or scouting out my next triathlon. I hope to one day soon have a flock of backyard chickens and a garden with so many tomatoes and zucchinis that I’ll be sharing with the neighbors.

I love hearing from you! You can reach out through the link below or check out my Instagram, @tayma.johnson.author.
